I've been to rebel paintball - it's not bad i think: comparable to Corbys unique, probably little better though but not by much.

If it's like Unique it will be a good day no doubt. Unique had a couple of cool fields with props etc.

Yeah I think so, Its where I first played my first game and got into it! Its in Ratby if I remember correctly in the woods. Its got a few game styles and most of it is pretty much all woods based with minimum cover beyond trees, logs and barrels. It doesnt have big forts or anything but was still fun - just very very muddy if I remember in one or two maps. I would say its worth going - In fact provided im ok and this tonsillitis clears up ok I may check it out myself. But I have a box of my own paint; they dont let you bring your own do they and pay a green fee by any chance do they?

Spoke to them today and info is, site paint only (sorry Meph), £50 inc box of paint (along the lines of Pure or similar),tea coffee and dinner also included. £40 a box there after. BPS uncapped but any one being stupid will be reprimanded. No ramping allowed.
They do have rentals that sometimes take part on the walk-on day and get mixed in, so not sure how that works but i figure if they are choosing to take part on a day like this then they know what to expect
Price wise the second box of paint is a little more expensive than normal but not a rip off as long as its good paint, which i was assured it will be. As its the closest site that has walk-on days to me (apart from Wild Park) Im going to give it a try. myself and a buddy or two will be going and they apparently they have regular members that go once month (every 3rd sunday) so should be a good turn out as this is the first one held this year due to weather conditions... (Pu$$!es... Cough....)
if any of you can make it, it would be good to see you but if not ill let you know how the day goes

Not too bad value, not brilliant but if you go easy on the trigger it could work out fine!
I would definitely go, but three events a month is just too much for me, will probably struggle for turn out on this one too as many are in the same boat.
Shame but there's always a next time.
I'll follow normal procedure with attending list.

I dont have to commit do I? Like its ok just to turn up on the day and pay I assume? If so I will def try come. Also NATE - Try make it You know you want to!

They do ask that you phone to book your place, however its pay on the day so no deposit is required, so i would say Meph, phone and say your a maybe at least that way your covered either way ?
