alright guys just throught i'd let you lot know of a couple of up comming CHEAP events on a warfighters.
BUT this isnt normal paintball its Magfed = Magazine fed paintball.
its actually a surprising nice change from slingling an ungodly amount of balls at someone. you have to be more tactical in playing and can make some more daring runs between cover,
before you say it, rental kit is available, full kit if needed too, the markers are tacamo converted BT-4's with Dmags, these are 20 round mags similar to the Dye DAM mags,
dates are:
September 14th (yes we know its stargate weekend)
scarab arms product launch ( COD style target range) & magfed walk-on
walk on = £15
Walkon + rental gear = £25
this is BYO paint or £8 a bag
mfog.co.uk/?p=77
October 26th & 27th
Black-Ops & TiPX challenge on 26th
Magfed Community day on 27th
mfog.co.uk/?p=51
ignore the pricing on this second event atm as this afternoon(16/8/2013) Dave has dropped the price of this so hes just covering running costs to make it cheaper for all
here is a copy of the latest info for this weenend event (although you don't have to do both) if you can't make both at least make the community day on the sunday at the last one the there was just over 40 players making it the biggest turn out of magfed own gunners in the UK to date!
UPDATE!!!!
I was sitting with Trevor today of HPAC. We were talking about the recession and how its crippling paintball. Then like a lead brick it hit me in the head, I'm supposed to be promoting Magfed to help grow the community, and money is tight, everywhere. So here's another contribution from a non greedy man at WarFighters.
Black-OPS Weekender. I've knocked £10.00 off the price per person for the saturday walk-on. Magfed is a passion, and I want to support it. I do have rent, staff and running costs, so I can't give the field away, but if I get my costs covered and make some money to put back into making the field better for you I'm happy. We are all winners!
Those of you that have pre-paid will receive a refund for the difference. This will be a blinding event, we have the Blk-OPS walk-on, the Tippmann TiPX Challenge Hostage Rescue Scenario followed by the Magfed Awards in the new polo club restaurant. Then on the sunday its community day!
Pricing for Saturday
Blk-OPS £25.00 pp / BYO or buy a 500 bag £8.00
Rental Equipment (mask/gloves/overall/MOLLE Armour/MK-V Dmag Marker £10.00
TiPXC Free to anyone
Magfed Awards Free Entry
Pricing for Sunday
£15.00 per person. BYO/Buy a 500 bag £8.00
Free Magfed Rental Markers
FREE Camping with heated brick toilet block and showers, with FREE Transport via Army Bedford to The Battle field
10% Discount at Toft House B&B
Lets make this the year end MAGFED game to set the standard for 2014
can't argue at ONLY £15 inc rental gear for a days balling in a different style
oh yeah if you do go for this and need rental gear once you've booked online just put your name and needs (e.g. marker, full gear) down on the bottom of the blog page to the relevant walk on event on the www.mfog.co.uk website, thus securing rental gear for the day, but be aware its first come first serve on the rental gear
