All are in my price range, but a bit stuck as to which to go for.
Am looking at Ego's and a Geo+ atm, love Ego's but I do already have one, so that's making me sway towards something else.
Anyway, opinions please!

Most spool guns can be a pain if you break paint as they can contaminate the bolt and sometimes fail to cycle, this includes the geo, NT, vanguard demon (I think) and a few others, but they do shoot better than a poppet.
This problem is what the J4 Torque is trying to solve by timing the firing cycle from bolt movement, so if it gets gummed up you automatically get more dwell to force the firing cycle to complete.
Never used a NT, I know nothing of them, although just watching a disassembly video there seems to be a lot of o-rings.
The Axe is fairly air efficient and doesn't contaminate the bolt if it breaks paint, but isn't the easiest if you need to clean the eyes or bits around the frame as the air goes through the middle, also it is a bit square, although Gordon gets on with it quite well.
Wouldn't go vanguard, too flaky on the reliability, and parts have to come from the usa now.
My Etek is basically a cheap ego11, while it is noisy and clatters a bit, it does not go wrong, but then that is the same as your current ego.
I got my geo 2 for about 325 iirc and I have seen others go for similar amounts on p8nt. I prefer the geo to the ego, still not shot a ego LV1, although it seems that is the sweet spot for guns at the moment.

Thanks for all the info Duncan. I really like the Ltd Axe which comes with the freak kit, oled board and upgraded barrel, but it's just out of my price range I'll keep my eye out for Geo 2s. Though I have a budget of £250-£300 so they may be just out of reach. There is a Geo+ going for £215 though which would save some money, how do you think the Geo+ compares to the Geo2? Cheers.

Thanks Rich. I wish I could get a Geo 3 lol but cannot afford one at the moment I am afraid.
The choice has basically narrowed down to a Geo+ (Geo 1 with GST upgrade) and an Axe. Both for basically the same price.
Which is the better choice?
The Axe would be newer, but the Geo I have my eye on still looks in good condition.

Or there's an NT11 for slightly more money, but I could stretch to it.
Choices choices!! lol.

Ive heard nothing but good things about the axe, but if there's asny way you could shoot the two to get a feel for them that would be your best bet... if you know any one that owns them that is ?

They are both good for the money Geo comes with a screen and the axe will not unless you upgrade Try before your buy if you can. Your always more then welcome to try my Geo

Thanks guys, I don't think I will be able to try as I will be hoping to buy for use at Paintfest.
I'm leaning towards the NT11 now as it's only had a case through it and is in perfect condition. I don't know an awful lot about them though but they seem to get decent reviews.
Anyone used them?
