Lol no probs. It's really an opinion thing, but personally I have gone with the tournament style markers because they work well in the woods or on the field, and are also the best performance-wise. It depends if you want to go for the military look or not.
Same goes again though, try out as much as you can at a walk on etc before parting with your cash.

lol seen the one you listed earlier, looked a nice bit of kit, would you be able to add a red dot and a bipod to one?

You mean the Nexus 06?
You probably could, but I really don't think you'd want to. Those guns are made to be fast and light, they're made for performance, adding a bipod and red dot would only get in the way and add weight.
Red dots don't really work in paintball, they're more for show, but if that's something you're into, then you can look at Tippmann markers for the military style ones.
Milsim is like a Harley Davidson big heavy meaty thing that looks good. Tournament markers (like the Nexus 06) are like sports bikes, built for speed and performance.

Bud if your looking at MilSim look then as GodForbid said you want to look at Tippmann's. There are thousands of modifications you can do to them and they are rather cheap, compared to the Dye Dam etc. My Tippmanns so far are a 98c that is currently looking like a AR15, and my X7 that is more like a H&K G3. I have seen a couple that are styled on the SA80, but the zenith in design at the moment is the P90 look, AKA Sam Carter Special.
