Hey guys,
I thought I would make a thread on how I save a bit of money here and there when purchasing things online through various websites, discount codes etc as it seems not everyone is always aware of how to be a savvy internet shopper.
Topcashback.co.uk
This website is brilliant. Its a cashback website that I have used over the last 2 years and I have made hundreds from them - literally.
They are a cashback website which you simply sign up to (its free) and they have links with all the major retailers (most of them).
You find the retailers through a quick search and it tells you how much cashback they will pay for the various items you buy.
Great for renewing car insurances, home insurances, gas, elec, etc and pretty much anything!
I buy various clothes from Topman sometimes, sometimes some games from play etc and with the percentages of cashback they give, although it seems like a small amount - it quickly adds up.
You can then choose to pay yourself the money you have accumalted.
So far I have made over £300 with them over the last 2 years and this is with stuff I usually would have bought anyways.
They also at times have discount codes for the sites you may be buying from so good to take a look.
Its important to note; You must clear your cookies before signing into your account as they use your cookies to track your purchases and if you have visited other websites; they may inturn "claim" the referral instead of topcashback making it difficult for them to claim it on your behalf and hence pay you. Just a tip.
Hotukdeals.co.uk
Possibly one of the best shopping websites on the net for us Brits; this website posts various deals across the UK and even discount codes available for various websites.
Before purchasing anything; its always a good idea to do a quick search on here to see if there isnt any deals for your desired item anywhere available.
You have to be careful however not to click through the links they host as this website will "conflict" with topcashback if you do and you wont get the cashback - this website it mainly for making you aware of the good deals out there-Use topcashback to earn the cashback if possible.
This website also see's users posts "price glitches" at supermarkets where things are scanning through for the wrong price.
For example I got my xbox 360 about 2 years ago for £70 less than the going rate as there was a glitch that someone posted at sainsburys and I made a quick dash to my local one to buy an xbox
If you didnt know - enjoy
