Yup I think we all pulled our socks up after we realised that the Greens werent exactly playing to rule and we would have to try harder.
I was a little annoyed at the lack of sportsmanship at times from the Greens; I think this was probably because we as reds were enforcing the rules strictly on ourselves; walking to our respawn areas, calling our hits etc and then finding they werent.
I hate to moan and I felt like I must have done the marshalls ears in with my complaints but I did think there were some dubious players on the other team.
I saw one chap with silver/blonde hair get hit by me on that first map on the far right as they advanced to our spawn area, walk back about 10 meters and then rejoin the fight on the other side.
He then went on to take me out as I ran after him, shot his team-mate next to him and he then nailed me telling me I was out.
I still walked off however but I was sure to let the marshalls know.
But the site was great and it was still a fun day; its all about taking people out ultimately rather than the objectives and I had some good moments to treasure.
(sliding under the net behind the advancing greens and taking out about 2-3 players from fairly close range was nice).

It was indeed a great day on the Sunday however i felt the Saturday night could have been better, too much smoke was used in the first game meaning what little light there was to illuminate curtain areas just reflected off of it meaning visibility was badly effected (yes i know its a night game but still...) If all players had glow sticks i think it would have made for a better game, some of the red team had them but none of the blues did so it gave them an unfair advantage. Also the marshals had red flashing lights to differentiate them from the ballers but in the smoke it just looked like a red glow stick so they got lit up quite a lot. As the night went on some of the ballers started to sit out or go home (perhaps because of the time between games was too long ?) meaning that by the last game the blue team had only a hand full of players to attack the fort which must have been a little boring for the reds defending ?
The Sunday however was a real blast with some great games and epic battles ! There were some great moves on both sides and great comradery between the teams for the most part, with ballers congratulating the enemy on good shots and stealth moves ! I agree that there were some "less than honourary" ballers on the field which was a shame as it tarred an otherwise fantastic day. I am lookin forward to re-visiting sherwood again, if only to get my revenge on morph who managed to take me out twice in one game ! Hats off bro...
