This is possibly a dumb question but Tack do you work at the site or own it? Just wondering your connection to it

No, only head/barrel mount cams that record to SD.
We are the resident team at Warfighters. We have a good relationship with Dave, who owns it, and pretty much run of the place to use privately whenever there are no punters.
The outdoor site isn't used too much for punter games as the majority of Dave's business is Killhouse and his laser based ReconX, across 1500 Acres.
Afte meeting you guys a few weeks ago I spoke to Dave first and then Nath about a deal for you guys if you wanted to use it as your regular site. Not sure what was discussed amongst you but Nath seemed keen on that, but I don't know if you're looking at something with Unique still?

I made a thread regarding this and everyone voted in favour Mick. I think quite a few are coming down to help do some work on the 16th and then hopefully do some walk ons with you guys in the future regularly. I believe prior arrangements and agreements had been made with unique, which are being pursued still, but as far as I am aware the deal with yourself Mick is our main priority, and hopefully we'll get some decent turn outs and meet ups with yourselves in the near future

That's cool Nath, doesn't mean not using/supporting other sites of course. Hopefully after this weekend we'll have the site ready for some public walk-ons and we can sort the next date and get some more bodies down for a good days play.
With more bits coming this week I'm hoping to get two of the Mk2 LED flags completed and I know Rob is working on the first auto sentry drone. So, by the time we go back down to play (within a few weeks) we'll hopefully have a few new toys to play with.
I'm also going to start trawling eBay for cameras and see if we can pick anything up at a reasonable price to start getting those deployed.

Sounds awesome Mick. I've made a post on the Renegade Rebels forum regarding this date, hopefully a few Rebels will come too!

Tack, You were so welcoming last time, that we would be stupid to not come along for next BBQ..... I mean days play.... lol
And am also interested in the killhouse of course.
Question to both NG and RR if you could copy and paste Tack.
Only an idea, but when we sort out our site, who would be up for a bi-monthly game, that has a cup awarded at the end of each year??

The only issue is the regularity. Most of the guys out whatever time and money they can in the larger events firstly. But....if you really want to do a team v team thing and keep score then I'm sure we can do that! ;-)
Keep your eyes and ears open on the larger grapevine, as there are things afoot for next year anyway, on a larger scale ;-)

Team vs Team friendly games could be a good idea. Good for practise and will help develop skills, though I am sure we'll struggle to win at first against some more experienced players haha.
Sounds like it could be a good laugh!
Wouldn't have to be anything too serious either, and could perhaps involve more than just the two teams.
What do you think Dave would say Mick in regard to hosting a day every couple of months or so for 4-5 paintball teams to tear it up against eachother?
I don't know how feasible this is, but it sounds possible at first thought.

Dave wouldn't have any problem with us doing that.
I was on site last night and talking to him about more ideas. He's now talking about moving the Killhouse down there and extending the safe zone into an adjacent Killhouse zone. It would be extended in time and have a two storey section that would make it about 4 times bigger than the dieting Killhouse. It would also be possible to have it self contained for Killhouse play, or opened up for play through in the outdoor zone.
I think I had the go ahead for a Stargate too! ;-)

I got a miniDV camera to record us but I think the quality may not be amazing if im honest. Its just a cheap one I got off ebay and having tested it - it seems worth the small fee paid but I dont know if it will give us anything beyond that. Its watchable but not HD. I will load a test video once the memory card I ordered arrives and get some feedback on what people think! Sorry I cant get a good one - budgets a bit tight at the moment with the wifes birthday month coming up, the other stuff I have bought and running a household
